February 13, 201214 yr Hi guys,I´m back from a rather long NGX flight from PDX - MSP. On checking the logbook for updatingmy signature, I saw that the logbook divided the flightime in several parts like night/day and instrument flight time. The first ones are self explaining but the last one I´m not really sure on what factors it´s based. That´s one oddity I´ve allways wondered but never really knew it. Can someone explain that further? Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
February 14, 201214 yr According to FSX's logbook.bin file, the 'IFR' is the time, when visibility was 3nm or less AFAIK. You can fly VFR flightplan, or even without flightplan from uncontrolled airport. As soon as visibility goes below, You will grab some IFR time in Your logbook Bartłomiej Ender
