March 10, 200422 yr Michael,Within UT there is a utility that allows for mid to GA aircraft. Some of the UT A/C listed include Bell helicopters, Learjet 45, 8 different De Havilland models, multiple Piper and Cessna light A/C, Pilatus PC12 and on and on. There is even a Shorts 360! Each in a different color scheme. You can also select all the FS GA A/C. Unfortunately I have not had enough time to play with this utility to see how the A/C are integrated into the sim, but everything else about UT is simple and straight forward so I assume this is too.
March 10, 200422 yr I live near KLEB (Lebanon Muni, NH). We get three flights a day to and from NY LaGuardia. All USAirways Express (Operated by Colgan Air - Beech 1900). UT has them. Its good. [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
March 10, 200422 yr I installed all of the UT AFCADs and them replace them with ProjectAI AFCADs as they become available... [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
March 11, 200422 yr Well Im convinced this is a really good add-on and worth every penny. At first it doesn't seem that great but after you start doing flights its AWSOME!Just watching as a SouthWest 737-300 lands on the runway right next to as you land at Orlando is just Beutiful.I LOVE THIS ADD-ON!! Konrad
March 11, 200422 yr I've just bought Ultimate Traffic based (mainly) on this thread.Hope you guys are right.....CheersTim
March 11, 200422 yr you may need to "play" with it a while to get it running just has you like it, for instance i had some defualt green aircraft at certain airports (no textures for them with ut) so i d/loaded some freeware ai aircraft (aardvaark and fspainter) and added them into ut and replaced the stock greens with them, its usually unusual airlines, i would definately recomment this add on its great and ets you tweak it to your hearts content.
March 12, 200422 yr Don't give up on it to easly you will have to get the settings right to get it to run smothly one of the settings that i felt helped out my Frame rates alot is disabling Shadows. Konrad
March 12, 200422 yr As to GA traffic this is what I did for PAI. I decompiled the default traffic file and split it into three files, one for airlines, one for GA, and one for the vintage GA. That way I could choose which ones to use at any giving time. I use the Vintage GA file along with a GA file that was posted for FS2002 sometime ago. Then I use the PAI files. You could apply the same techniques to any other traffic package that might not include GA traffic.
March 12, 200422 yr >I've just bought Ultimate Traffic based (mainly) on this>thread.>>Hope you guys are right.....>>Cheers>TimYou won't be disappointed, Tim. Ultimate Traffic ROCKS.I love FS9, but am loath to spend any money for add-ons. But UT is totally worth it.My only complaint is that at busy airports with traffic set to 100%, my frames get hit pretty hard. But I have such a lame computer that I would never blame Flight1 for what I'm experiencing. I have a lot of upgrading to do before I point fingers at anyone. As I said, UT totally rocks. I love it!
