About ten minutes into a flight-

Featured Replies

The computer reboots. I have uninstalled FS9 completely and put a clean copy on the computer and it still does it. Takes about five or ten minutes of the flight before the computer will reboot.Does not happen when flying Falcon 4.0Any ideas?Windows XP Latest driver for Nevida 4200Thanks Ed

Ed, You've got an interesting problem there -- could you please post a more detailed system spec sheet for us to look at? Also -- try running FS with nothing else open - to do this - CTRL, ALT, DEL - into Windows XP task manager. Then - end all of the processes with your user-name beside them (except explorer) -- XP will let you know if a process cannot be ended... Once we can see a detailed spec sheet we should be able to get the problem solved...PS. Does this problem happen when flying in a certain area? Or does it happen wherever you fly?Dan :) :+

Thanks Dan for the interest.Working on a few things. Removed 70 "pests" last night and got my MS registry back to normal. Can't believe how much stuff in the the MS registry to cause you harm. I don't think it is the CH Yoke or CH rudder pedals but will check that out with my old Thrustmaster hardware. It might be the CD rom. If I can't find anything else I will take the computer into the shop and have it checked. It's not a heating problem because it only reboots using MSFS.This is a strange problem. I will keep everyone informed.Again, thanks for the interest.RegardsEd
