In task manager, my PC only gets about 3.5GB in FSX and NGX at high detailed airports. Like I said I upgraded form 4 to 8 GB and seems that my FSX didnt notice that!thanks Alexandre Blumberg
March 23, 201214 yr Commercial Member Alexandre,FSX can never have more than 4GB of address space allocated to it, even on a 64-bit system with 8+GB of physical RAM. This is a hard mathematical limit for a 32-bit app. (it's the number of possible values for a bit - 2 (a 1 or a 0) raised to the 32nd power - this equals 4GB) Address space is a mapping system for any memory the app is using - system RAM, video RAM etc. In practice it is not actually possible for a 32-bit game to use 4GB of physical RAM because DX9 shadow copies the video memory and a few other system resource things into that 4GB address space limit. This is why you never see much above 2-3GB usage even with a ton of addons and settings boosted. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
