February 27, 201214 yr I need some help with the above. Reflections are way over done as is the tint of the windshield. I can't be the only one with this problem. I want to see my beautiful scenery. I looked for .DDS files so I could fix like the Lear45 but they are not to be found. I really enjoy the DC10 and need help. Gary, CIMEL, retired FAA Controller & all around good guy!

February 28, 201214 yr Trying to recall the file name. i have fixed it but it was yrs ago! I opened it with DXtbmp and edited the Alpha channel for transparency. Might try this file in your texture folders.clsd10_wd.bmpI also fixed that horrible pink night lighting by editing the vc light effects file Edited February 28, 201214 yr by Barnstormer1 ArDee

Thank you. BTW you don't happen to remember the name of the night vc file do you! It took a long time to isolate the w/s file. March 1, 201214 yr Many thanks Icon for starting the thread and thanks to barnstormer for the fix......wondering the same thing and corrected the windscreen now. BTW.....I also would be interested in the night VC file. I have changed the lighting from red to white, but when the flood light switch is on, its just to bright IMHO; unfortunately, turning the flood light off is to dark. A happy median would be perfect.Cheers,Gmac
March 1, 201214 yr I believe the VC file name in the effect folder is. CLS_VC_light.fx. The brightness etc is also in this file. There are tutorrials avail to explain it.[ParticleAttributes.0]Blend Mode=2Texture=fx_2.bmpBounce=0.00Color Start=100, 100, 100, 1 //---The start and stop are the VC light colors. You can make these what you want. They are default grey now. RBG.Color End=180, 140, 100, 0 //----"Jitter Distance=0.00Jitter Time=0.00uv1=0.00, 0.00uv2=0.01, 0.01X Scale Goal=0.00Y Scale Goal=0.00Z Scale Goal=0.00Extrude Length=0.00Extrude Pitch Max=0.00Extrude Heading Max=0.00 Edited March 1, 201214 yr by Barnstormer1 ArDee
March 1, 201214 yr Thanks Barnstomer. I changed the numbers and its starting to look alot better. However, when I turn on the flood lights, its so bright on the panel....any way to dim or is this a texture file?Cheers,Gmac
