Squawbox problem - cannot see other aircraft

Featured Replies

I tried to search for this topic using search option, but none of the solutions found addresses my problem unfortunately.I am connected to SB and see other aircraft on a TCAS display, yet I am unable to see them around me at the airport.I have an internet connection via ISDN modem provided to me by my telephone operator and have no firewall installed.I will appreciate your help.Dom

Are you using FS2004 or FS2002?If you are using FS2004, make sure you are using SBRelay in addition to Squawkbox. If you are using FS2002 make sure you have the CSL folder under aicraft. Here's what I do (I'm using FS2004):Start FS2004Start SBRELAYGo back to FS2004Go to MultiplayerJOIN (Not HOST) a session and join with SBRELAYStart SBHOSTStart Squawkbox.Connect to Squawkbox in the SBHOST window.Hope this helps.

Try a search on the VATSIm or ProControlelr forum, that question has been asked numerous times. Also try the Pilot Resource Centre linked to on the main VATSIM site.

Gentlemen,Thank you very much for your responses.First of all I use fs2004.I also activate SBRelay before I launch Squawbox.I searched numerous forums for two days in search for answer as I know everybody would suggest this, but the only answer there in that regards relates to router connections which I do not have. Thanks and still looking for helpDom
