March 5, 201214 yr I just went through a cold & dark setup for the tupolev 154 B-2, I don't feel like doing this all the time. Is there a way to save the setup so I wouldn't have to go through the whole procedure again? Thanks!
March 5, 201214 yr Set things up the way you want.Save the flight with the Make Default Flight box checked.
March 5, 201214 yr I'm not sure I would make it the default flight, meaning I wouldn't necessarily overwrite the Cessna flight that FS9 came with at initial install. I'll certainly defer to Jim's (JSkorna) learned opinion on that one but it seems to me that I remember really messing up my install by doing that!. but right after you set everything you want the way you want it, you can certainly save the flight, and open that flight every time you want to fly. March 5, 201214 yr I'm not sure I would make it the default flight, meaning I wouldn't necessarily overwrite the Cessna flight+1Not starting with the FS default airplane (Cessna) can cause some troubles for some addon's aircrafts (some will not want to work at all)Simply save the flight (not as default flight) ... you can save how many you want and at any airports ...Need it ? .. select it ... :)
March 5, 201214 yr Author I saved the flight like JSkorna said, but I didn't check "Make Default Flight". I restarted FS2004 and loaded my saved flight and the Tupolev came up cold & dark :( . I think the controls for the Tu-154 B2 are too complex for the sim to memorize.
March 5, 201214 yr Making another flight the Default flight does not delete the Cessna at SeaTac flight, BTW. It just comes up with a different flight upon loading the sim. You can always change it back. But if you don't plan on *always* flying that Flight, there is no need to make it the default, I agree. Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
March 5, 201214 yr that could be entirely correct! Many complex Flight Sim Aircraft simply don't accomodate "save as" . . .
