Request: longer timeframe for edit (in two ways)

Featured Replies

1. When I have posted something and immediately want to edit a little mistake, the message is marked as edited immediately. On a lof ot other forums you have some time before the edited post is marked as edited. Some forums don't even mark the post as edited unless someone else has posted after you, which I like even more. As it is now almost all my posts are marked as edited... I see a lot of edited post anyhow, and I think quite often those edits are just little corrections. 2. Yesterday I posted a topic about settings in Flight. Not too long after that I wanted to edit it because there was a mistake in one of the examples. However, it was already impossible to edit the post. I would like to be able to edit my posts a bit longer... like at least a day or so... In fact, I wouldn't mind if some opening posts could be edited forever!EDIT:Look! This post isn't marked as edited while I edited! Awesome! Guess how I did that...

I know how to do it as a mod but I wasn't sure if a member had the option, haha. Do you have the check box too that allows you to edit without marking a time stamp?

Sincerely,

Chase
