SP1b to SP1c question

Recommended Posts

I have experienced couple of minor anomolies while using sp1c with a saved flight from sp1b. In general, do you think using previous sp1b saved flights be a problem with sp1c?PMDG brilliant update - thank you.

I am sure that the PMDG folks reminded that cross-service pack flightplans were not compatible... Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I personally erased the SP1b completely by the uninstall program and then ereased the NGX stuff in my FSX folders, inclufing the NGX flightplans. Then I bought a re-download ticket (only 5 bucks) and reinstalled both packs anew.Happy flights!

I remember that from sp1a to b there was no need for saved files clean up, and, probably, as it was not listed in the instructions, it could be true. However, it is strange that an original release saved flight is compatible with the sp1c.So, I'm curious about the same thing!

Scott,There shouldn't be any reason that an SP1b saved flight won't work with SP1c. I made most of the tutorial still using SP1b for instance. We didn't make any major changes to the systems and options like we did between RTM and SP1.If you want to send me the flight that's messing up via a support ticket I'll take a look at it.
