SimonI have almost the same setup so maybe i can be of assistance but i do not understand what i should be looking for. What exactly do you mean by "cat get the displays from having a strange wavy look to them that shimmersIf you point it out to me i would be more than happy to verify i can see the same on my hd6970 eyefinity with 2500k

Hi there, got the same problem.1. go here: http://forum.avsim.n...f-all-settings/2. download nvidia inspector3. modify FSX profile to use something better than 4xS for 'Antialiasing Setting' entry. Using 8xS helped for me, however i've got GTX560Ti GPU.Not sure if there's other way to get rid of this effect, eventually you may reduce backlight:)EDIT. Ehh stupid me, nvidia inspector with ATI card... :LMAO:Anyway try modifying this setting with ATI dedicated software, AMD catalyst i think, and let know if it helped.

Hey There,If you look at the DU's you can see the dots, which when panning around become wavy and hard on the eyes. Thanks

Simon,I must be much less critical on product quality than you are since i don't really find anything wrong with the image you posted.Anyway i am now at the office but will check tonight when i am back at my home. Will also pan to see if that introduces anything like you mention

No problem Fred, it goes away if i enable Supersampling, but then that kills my frames completely.

I will check my settings also. I guess supersampling is in the Ati control center settings right?

Oke SimonOn my home screen i was able to see what you mean (the white dots in the nd are very present when viewed on my home screens but not on my work pc)That is the good news. The bad news (for you that is) i do not have that problem at all while i am only at multi sample aa (lowest aa mode). (i even tried to put the ND at very bright to see if that would cause the dots but it doesn't)Please note i have however in the CC put Anti-Aliasing under application control and FSx has AA set at checked only (no possibilty to select a certain level of AA in fsx)For your info i am running three ilyama's e2409hds on a asus eah6970 dcII at a 5760x1080 setting.Hope this helps somewhat in finding what is causing your problem

Try dimming the PFD/ND/DU displays brightness a little (via the knobs on the console just below), so that the background is completly black (without any grey/blueish hue). It did the trick for me.

Guys,Thanks very much for the help! Dimming the DU's gets rid of the problem, but they look very black, but its a minor thing to put up with when i have 3 screens of gorgeousness! Albeit with slight warping when using wideaspectview=true
