TWO QUESTIONS

Featured Replies

Hi guys/gals, TWO QUESTIONSQuestion 1 Has ANYONE unlocked the red/white/grey paint scheme Maule M7 that we see in so many of the photos of flight? Even in game it's in all the photos of the cargo missions. When do you unlock it? What do you have to do?Question 2On one of the Maule M7 landing challenges (3,4,5?) there is fog that just creeps between the fingers of the mountains, it's like a light morning mist. You have to land in what looks like a crater. My question...which weather scenario is that? Is it one I can select in Free Flight? Right now "dense fog" is MUCH more hardcore IFR than what is in the landing challenge.

no takers???

Don't have the Maule myself. However if you go to the hangar and select the paint schemes you can see what you have to do to unlock each one.

I have the Maule, and as you see there are only 2 paint schemes.I think the red one is a picture from the FSX.

I am afraid MS is creating specific weather for specific scenario's... So they aren't using the weather presets themselves, at least not everytime. So it IS possible to create different weather but onfortunately we don't have the tools that MS has for it.

Well guys...thank you for taking the time to answer. I really appreciate it. The Maule M7 is definitily in "flight" though....its in all of the photos from microsoft's flight website and shows it IN flight. So who knows what happened to it. I just thought it was really sweet looking and thought maybe it's in an achievement I haven't yet unlocked. As for the weather...wow...what a shame. I would LOVE to have more presets like that. Microsoft did a tremendous job of layering in that ground fog into the mountains so well it's a shame it was implemented into a preset. All that work...just to have some background ambiance during a "landing challenge" seems like a waste to me. I would think that type of weather would be even more important with alaska soon on the horizon. Ok ...thanks again guys!!MJ_ERIC

Yes, the Maule is in Flight, I'm flying it right now, but not the red paint scheme, it only has 2 Brown/White and Blue/White, with stripes.Sorry, there is no unlock for the Maule, Its for sale as DLC.

I know...I purchased it. When you look at the cargo missions....look at the photo...it's of a red/grey/white version that's not included. Also go to microsofts website and you can see plenty of pictures of the "3rd Maule paintscheme":-)

That paintscheme does not officially exist. Its based from the FSX Maule livery and was only used in testing and screenshots. I think you even see it in early webisodes. I dont know why they decided to ditch that livery before release.Yep. It was in Webisode 4
