Avsim Aerocache Of The Day Challenge

Featured Replies

I saw todays Aerocache and said to myself "No sure if serious Microsoft?".. A Four star aerocache.. Finding it is easy, getting is easy.. Four stars??? Typically you could just land the Icon and motorboat your way over to it or get out and walk. Too easy.So I took it upon myself to add a challenge, to a `challenge'.The Challenge (RV Owners):

Eddy? My name is Bill.. I was going to try inverted but decided against it because of the quick exit required at that speed.

You mean there is more than one styckx on the Internet? Ok, sorry 'bout that, Bill. I probably won't be the only one who calls you that at some point.Next up, try it with the Icon (or Stearman) inverted under the bridge. The engine cuts out from lack of fuel. :DI suppose you could also land on the bridge to get it.I did it the easy way... I flew over the bridge. Without doing an aerocache hunt, so I had to actively look for the thing. I think the under-the-bridge aerocaches were intended for you to fly under to get them.Hook

There is someone else on the internet who uses this rediculous forum name too? I've used this name since 1995 and stuck with it because everyone always had trouble remembering how to spell it.. Figured the the likelyhood of anyone else using it was zero.

Whoever it is, he's got a pretty big Internet presense, and has a good reputation. If it was you, I have no idea where I got the name Eddy... but I'm almost certain there's an Eddy Styckx out there that I was thinking of. Wish I could remember where I saw him last... probably in Usenet.Have you ever done a search for the name?Hook
