Flight - offline

Guys: Consider the LIVE login as a 2 step process.Flight needs to do a LOCAL login through LIVE so it can load your local user profile; that includes your missions, challenges and other stuff.LIVE then tries to do an ONLINE login so it can retrieve other information stored on the Flight servers; that includes your XP, Pilot Stats, Aerocaches and some other stuff. That is why, when you start Flight tries to do the LIVE login, to retrieve local user settings and to try to connect to the Flight Servers.Disabling the network connection, or unplugging the cable, or blocking GFWL from the firewall will work if you only want to fly locally. But remember that you won’t get aerocaches, updated XP and stats until you do a complete LIVE login.IMO Disabling the automatic log in is also a good idea,I agree, with what some of you said; there should also be an option not to do an online login, but until they (ie MSGS) do or don’t, we only have the option to somehow disable the network connection while we start flight. So to fly locally:1.- Disable or disconect your cable2.- Start Flight, do the Login thing, when it fails close the popup, and either hit home or click on the hud "X", Click on the screen.3.- Enjoy FlightBTW: Don, I hope you get well soon.
