ATC + radiofrequencies

Featured Replies

The problem, I want to discuss, exists a long time for me in FSX. Maybe it is in the past recognized, and already solved. If so, I want to know how. For me its rather annoying. Let's go describing:During a flight ATC often changes the radiostations, and the related frequencies. Then follows thecommand: Tune (station) on (frequency). After activating normally the COM1-frequencie in the radiopanel changes. But now I have noticed, that this does NOT always happens! And also I noticed, that the change of the radiostation not happens, ATC keeps displaying the old station + frequencie!Even after a re-install of FSX this problem stays. Please help me, if possible. Sorry for bad EnglishTon / The Netherlands

I have an addition to this: I just performed a flight from Los Angeles (KLAX) to San Francisco (KSFO)Departed from KLAX I was after a short time in contact with Los Angeles Center 135.50. (freq)Then ATC asked me to contact Point Mugu Approach on 124.70.Then I get NOT the message : Acknowledge handoffI get NOT the message: Tune Point Mugu Approach on 124.70I get the Message: Contact Los Angeles Center on 135.50 !!!Probably this gives a clearer light on my problem? Thanks for reading!

I'm guessing there are addons you can get that fix this issue but some more knowledgeable will hopefully chime in.

I've had this problem before, I think it's when the sim is overloaded with a lot of ai aircraft or too high display sliders. Try turning down the graphics settings and Ai and try again.
