March 13, 201214 yr Only a few minor problems on my end1) At an airport that has a really short taxi time the message that cabin is secure does not happen until barreling down the runway.2) Say Im descending, and atc clears me down below transition level (ie im at FL240 and cleared down to 12000) Im also told at this point to set my altimeters to 30.12, so I do this, but when passing 18000 my FO recycles them back to STD, its my understanding that you set your altimeters when atc tells you to or when cleared below the trans level, but the FO does it at 18000 regardless. Just curious if I misunderstood this?3) Not sure why but I can't get the FO to set flaps up speed, he either does nothing or puts the flaps up, in the green bar the command is correct, its probably something Im doing wrong, I say set flaps up speed shortly after putting the gear up.

Use that standby altimeter to set local pressure when ABOVE the transition level. Also, Turn off Sync Captain and Standby Barometer in the NGX SIMULATION Configuration Menu3) Say it twice and he'll set it, we're looking t this for the SP Damien WeekesCaptain 737NG / A319/20/21

We'd usually taxi a little slower to accommodate the gals in the back so everything runs smoothly. Damien WeekesCaptain 737NG / A319/20/21
