Virtual Cockpit View Problem

Featured Replies

Initally when openning the 747-8 in the virtual cockpit view, I have to zoom out all the way using the minus key. Additionally, I must then zoom out further, using ctrl-enter, in order to be able to see the altitude window. The PFD, ND and MCP look fine, but starting about half way up, objects start to get distorted. At the top of the screen, the post between the Captains front and side window is very wide and takes up about 1/3 of the screen. Using the same cockpit view, if I "look" to the right, everything on the FO side, including the window post, looks normal. The stock FSX 747 does not have this problem, which is why I'm posting this. I'm using 1920x1080x32 as my FSX screen resolution and have a wide screen 30" monitor. The PMDG settings are set for the 747-8. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks.Pete Locascio

Have you selected the -8 in the config manager?

Did you run the config manager as the admin? Had nearly the same issue than you with distorted views.. :Monkey:
