March 17, 201214 yr After installing the NGX SP1C for the 800/900 I have been having alot of problems. The first problem which went without help can be found here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/365843-my-737-stopped-responding/I tried the tutorial 2 again and the recall and caution buttons failed to work when I got to the APU fire test. Im thinking I will have to uninstall but is there not only a certain amount of times you can activate this? March 17, 201214 yr Hi TimAs there ar no other replies, just thought I would ask if you are sure that you have all the external power and air definitely connected so as not to kill the fsx battery during the time it takes to follow the tutorial to the letter. I remember another developers plane that this phenomina would happen if it took a long time to set up before it killed the battery charge, and animations would work but the function would not. Just a thought, maybe do a test and start the apu up earlier than requested by the tutorial to see f you can get past that point in the tutorial?good luck, keep us informed.RegardsJohn Calleja John Calleja

March 21, 201214 yr Any help? Im not sure if should re-install as this will take up an activation i think?ThanksNo, normaly it is no problem to reinstall. It will not ask for activation, as the information is still stored in the Registry of your system. March 21, 201214 yr Author Ok thanks for that Frank. As I understand it after uninstalling there are files that I should delete. Could anyone tell me what these are or where I could find them? Thanks Tim HeptinstallAirports I have been to: Doncaster Robin Hood Airport EGCN, East Midlands (EGNX), Manchester (EGCC), Tenerife South/Reina Sofia Airport (GCTS), Fuerteventura Airport (GCFV), New York John F Kennedy International Airport (KJFK)Aircraft I have travelled on: 737-800 (Thomson), 737-800WL (Thomson, Ryanair), 757-200 (Thomson, Thomas Cook), 757-200WL (Thomson, Thomas Cook, American Airlines), De Havilland Dragon Rapide (Classic Wings G-AIYR). March 21, 201214 yr Don't recommend removing any other files apart from what your installer removes. You will get activation issues otherwise.Just run add-remove programs, reboot, reinstall update to SP1C again and try the tutorial again. March 21, 201214 yr Author Ok thanks, reinstalled and everything seems to be running fine apart from one problem which I think may be related to the procedures in Tutorial 2 as opposed to an actual glitch so I will post that elsewhere. Thanks Tim HeptinstallAirports I have been to: Doncaster Robin Hood Airport EGCN, East Midlands (EGNX), Manchester (EGCC), Tenerife South/Reina Sofia Airport (GCTS), Fuerteventura Airport (GCFV), New York John F Kennedy International Airport (KJFK)Aircraft I have travelled on: 737-800 (Thomson), 737-800WL (Thomson, Ryanair), 757-200 (Thomson, Thomas Cook), 757-200WL (Thomson, Thomas Cook, American Airlines), De Havilland Dragon Rapide (Classic Wings G-AIYR).
