March 17, 201214 yr Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I'm thinking about upgrading my computer, but I don't want to lose my 737NGX and 747. Any ideas? I thought about just copying them to a USB drive or a main server between the two computers, but there is no guarantee that I will get all the nessacary folders. Any tips? I own the download version of both planes.
March 17, 201214 yr You can't just back up the files. There is a lot more to installing programs than just creating a few folders. Activations etc. What I would do is back up the installers to another source such as external hard drive, flash drive, CD, floppy disc (maybe). Kenny Lee"Keep climbing"
March 17, 201214 yr Yep. If you don't have the installers you'll need to purchase extended download service & open a support ticket to redownload them. Keep the installers in a safe place like a junpdrive or portable hd.Simply copying the files over won't work because of the registry entries. You'd have to be really pc savvy to do those manually.
