Who else had an unexplicable "Adding New Scenery" popup...

Featured Replies

...yesterday?I had no new scenery added, nothing changed deleted or whatsoever on Saturday when I shut down Fs2004.On Sunday, when I restated the sim, those masseges like "Adding New Scenery Objects", "Recreating Data Base" etc. pooped up on the opening screen.Could it be that this had to do with the beginning of this year's dalight saving time in Europe last weekend? Does anybody else had his scenery data base recreated for unexplicable reasons?Wolfgang

Yes, I have been having that a few times recently. I have no idea why as I haven't added anything either.

http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...d=183685&page=2Always search the forum first. I'm amazed the number of times I think of a question, only to find the question has already been asked and the solution found. Saves hours of time for all sides and bandwidth for the site!Allcott

Hi Allcott,I more or less automatically repeat this post twice a year, and it still amazes me how many people do NOT read it and post their "problem" again and again :-) ....Let's see next october :-) Cheers, Rob Barendregt

It definitely is the daylight saving change. This happened inAustralia yesterday & the scenery rebuilt.Peter Sydney Australia

Cosidering my senility I'm pretty sure, that I will waste valuable bandwith and server space by the end of October again. ;-)Wolfgang
