737 Panel buttons do not work

Featured Replies

Hello, This is my first post in the avsim. I got to say what an awesome community this is. I discovered this place when i purchased my PMDG 737NGX. So cool to come here and have so many questions answered and explained. This is my question or rather my situation that I have not been able to find a forum on. In the virtual cockpit and on the main panel there are a majority of buttons and knobs that I can click with the mouse on but I can`t shut them off. For example, when I am loading the plane with passengers I can turn the AC pacs on and APU on. BUT when i need to start the engines I can not shut the pacs off no matter how i try to click the buttons. Same with the APU, once my engines are running i can only flick the switch back to start instead of off. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem and hopefully they found a remedy. Its a bit of a pain to keep having to do a cold and dark start every time i would like to fly. Thanks in advance.LokiEagle62 aka Dylan

The remedy is in reading the introduction manual ;)

Normally you would would right-click to reverse the switch position, from the position it took when you left-clicked it. Did you try this?* Orest

Fabo: Yes I did read the manual and i did not find anything unless i skipped over it which i do have a habit of doing sometimes.Mr.Orest, you have got it. I tried it and worked. This is my first "professional" sim so i never thought about doing that. Thank you!

Well, that is a bad habit. Also, don't forget to exercise the mouse roller wheel as well, it works here and there.* Orest

Certainly seems so, since the method of right-clicking (which I was hinting at by my post) is well documented in introduction manual...
