March 21, 201214 yr I am far from calling myself an experienced FS2CREW user.First of all I'd like to congratulate Bryan and his team for their great work. This type of quality addons is what makes our hobby better through time. What I would like from more experienced users is to give me (or us) a guidance as to how to achieve a good integration between FS2CREW and GSX. I mostly refer to the time integration between these two addons and how GSX or FS2CREW (or both) should be setup...ed (!).My style is that I load a cold & dark panel and use a GPU just a couple of mins before pushback, then I use GSX for pushback (I like that it's accurate and positions the plane right on spot). When should I tell GSX to start boarding? How long should this last?I've downloaded a couple of flows from other users, which BTW I thank a lot, but I still have trouble with good timing...Sorry if this has been asked again, but it's not easy to follow every topic on AVSIM.Thank you for your time too!Regards...PS Did I mention that I truly look forward for the tutorial? March 21, 201214 yr Hi George,Like you, I far from call myself an expert on FS2Crew, however I have been playing with GSX and managed to get it working for me. There are two things that I have changed. One is the boarding time which I have set to 240 seconds minimum time and 1.72 seconds per passenger. The other is the sounds which I downloaded from AVSim ( http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=166725 ).I start the catering as soon as I run FS2Crew, this is then completed when my FA tells me that they are ready for boarding at T-18min. At this time I start the boarding with GSX which is completed by the time I have to do my welcome message at T-09min. I then use GSX for the pushback as I like the animation.I had two problems that I found. One was that GSX wanted the right front and aft doors opening for the catering and the left rear door opening for boarding which FS2Crew did not handle. I set these on my Saitek throttle for ease and open and close manually. The second problem is that GSX expects all the doors to be closed directly after use and will keep nagging. I solved this by just changing the chime.wav file to a silent wav in an audio program.Hope this helps.

March 21, 201214 yr Craig,Where did you find the sound files for fs2crew? I've looked and can't find them. Thanks for the help.Ed Henry
March 21, 201214 yr Just search for GSX in the AVSim file library. Or it is easy enough to record your own if you have someone who wants to do some acting.Just search for GSX in the AVSim file library. Or it is easy enough to record your own if you have someone who wants to do some acting.
