  1. This may have been covered already. When I load a flight plan that's imported from SimBrief, MSFS wants to start from the runway. When I choose a parking spot for the start position, MSFS dumps the SimBrief plan and wants me to choose it's own crazy flight plan. Any ideas how to stop this? The runway isn't the best place to start when on VATSIM or while in multiplayer mode! Ed Henry
  2. I'm about to start upgrading the Jetline system I purchased 8 years ago to be P3D compatible. I've listed the original equipment (unless stated otherwise), and the components I'm thinking of upgrading to over the course of the next 8-10 months. I'm thinking things such as the chassis, power supply, DVD should not need to be replaced, but was unsure about my current CPU cooling unit handling the upgrade. Let me know your thoughts about the upgraded components I'm thinking about getting and if you think they will give me 20-30 FPS on average(which is what I shoot for allowing for a drop when at/using more complex addons). Thanks for any thoughts or advise. It's a big investment that I would prefer to get correct the first time around. 3. Thanks Dan. Problem fixed when I updated the NAVDATA. Ed Henry
  4. I just tried to fly from KPHX to KABQ (after a long period of not using FSX-SE), and when I tried to put in the REF. airport (KPHX) I received a "airport not in database" message. I tried various airports and received the same message. The only difference between now and the last time I flew, is I installed FS9 to try some of the CalClassics sceneries, but could not get it to work so I uninstalled FS9. Any thoughts or suggestions? Is it possible I screwed something up by installing/uninstalling FS9? Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Ed Henry
  5. Well, I feel like an idiot. Thanks for the tip! I kept trying to advance the time on the primary screen. I'll give it a try on my next flight. Ed
  6. Hi everyone. I was just wondering if there is a way to advance the clock like you could with the legacy version? It seems that I spend time just waiting for the clock to get to the next event, and it would be nice to speed things up a bit. I have looked in the manual, but can't find any info. Any thoughts? I'm running SOP1, and really like the new reboot very much. Ed Henry
  7. Thanks, that seems to have fixed my problem! Ed
  8. I hope I can get some help! I can't seem to get the preflight checklist started. Everything seems to be working up to the point where I ask for the preflight checklist. I get no response from the FO. Also, when I try to play the "welcome" announcement, nothing happens. Don't know if the two are related. Any help would be great. Thanks. Ed Henry
  9. Has anyone designed, or have plans to design the new Dallas Love Field terminal? I have looked in both the AVSIM, and Flightsim libraries and don't see the new terminal. Also, if there is a payware scenery of the new building I would be interested in that as well. Thanks for any info provided. Ed
  10. Craig,Where did you find the sound files for fs2crew? I've looked and can't find them. Thanks for the help.Ed Henry
  11. I tried the suggestion from Matias and that seemed to fix the problem. Thanks for all the feeback and ideas!Ed Henry
  12. I have checked to see if any failures showed in both the FMC as well as FSX, and I've never found any in either place. Also, the failure seems to happen reguardless of where the start switches are(CONT or FLT). Rick, I'll try reducing speed on my next flight, but I think your correct that this isn't the problem.
  13. here is a couple of screen shots i took during the engine cutout. My bad, forgot to sign my last post.Ed Henry
  14. could someone help me find info on how to add screen shots to a forum post. I know this is a stupid question, however I have never done this and have no clue how to do it or where to go to find out how to. Thanks.Ed Henry
