March 23, 201214 yr Been 2 flights n found that the altitude indicator in MCP was locked in either 50000 or 00000 after I told the FO to set it to a certain Flight level and after that it wouldn't move up or down no matter what I did (even changed it manuallyby scrolling up and down), same goes to speed, it wouldn't change to desired speed and wasn't changeable.. I consulted to the manual, as You said I had to turn the VOiCE in the toggle bar off and back to on, and everything was back to normal. But then I couldn't hear the FO, i tried to perform approach brief but no response, followed by saying "any specials today", still no response. I repeated over and over again n I knew I said it right since my commands were written correctly in the green box appeared. I turned the HS button off and back to on, no avail. Everything is good with other editions I ownI ended the flight and went to the gate and performed before start checklist and departure brief, everything looked good, it only happens when cruise.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Regards

However, ensure you use the correct format for altitudes... ie., "Flight Level Three Three Zero. Also turn on Hard Mute if you won't be used voice control for long periods of time.Cheers, B. March 27, 201214 yr now it is flawless, I guess there were parts I missed, like unfinished checklists or procedure so the FO didnt respond my command since I still had to say something to complete what I had had started. Thanks Bryan :)
