Hello,we are actually working on a new Tupolev Tu-134. We will release simultaneously four versions of this legendary aircraft: Tu-134-1 (the first version with breaking parachute), Tu-134A (the most produced), Tu-134B (the second most produced) and Tu-134UBL (military navigators-training variant).Like it was with our Antonov An-24RV, we'll first release the aircrafts without virtual cockpit (but with dynamic wing views though). The full version will appear later. There is already a good panel for Tu-134. And I've asked the panel designer (Sergey Golosov) to translate it in English. http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/69498.jpg

We are trying to marry model complexity with maximum framerate. The model is extremely detailed and made as close as possible to the real plane. It has about 27000 polygons. At the same time, we fit all the external textures in just three bitmaps that made the model very fps friendly. Other features contribute to this: hiding invisible parts, low-poly shadow model.Like with our An-24, real Tu-134 pilots will test the model to make it fly like a real plane. The work is subject of constant attention and remarks from people related to Tu-134.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/69785.jpg

Hi DmitryI have been following the development of this model for the last couple of weeks (on another forum :) )I have to say that the work you've done is of outstanding quality!!!Just one question, I know this is not related to you but the panel that is currently available works in fs2002 only, or am I mistaken?Thanx, and keep up that excellent job!!!//Michael

>I have been following the development of this model for the>last couple of weeks (on another forum :) )>Just one question, I know this is not related to you but the>panel that is currently available works in fs2002 only, or am>I mistaken? The panel by Sergey Golosov (aka dzies) works in FS2004... but not very well... It is built on Stepan Gritsevski's logic that is quite different from the MSFS default panel logic. This makes the panel quite unique and intresting but difficult to use. Some of those navigation systems need years of theorical courses and practice... Sergey Golosov told me he'll probably try to adopt the actual panel to the default logic and I'll make him translate the panel into English. I know that even if our An-24 was a success, many simmers have been disappointed of not being able to fly the plane because of the panel. This time, we'll make an effort to adopt it for larger public. By the way, the original cyrillic panel with real complex logic will also be available.Don't expect GPS and modern autopilot. Normally, the autopilot of this age allows you just to keep the cap and the vertical speed. You won't be able to set a flight level and to go to take your coffee. Here is a little screenshot from "the other forum" :) http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/69834.jpg
