March 27, 201214 yr Pointless question born of idle curiosity:In DX9 mode, when you change cameras and the loading of the textures can't keep up, the "no texture here lads" is just a plain, blank neutral grey until everything catches up.In DX10 mode, when this happens, everything is tiled with the "FSX Logo" texture in blue with writing instead.1) Anyone know why? (I won't accept "DX10 is just broken and you shouldn't use it" as an answer! :( )2) Anyone know how to make it go away and just display the grey? It is way more distracting...Cheers! Cheers! Iain
March 27, 201214 yr Your texture bandwidth numbers are far too low, that shouldn't happen, especially with your specs.
March 27, 201214 yr Author Hmm - has always happened, regardless of Texture Bandwidth tweaks! It only takes a second or so and doesn't always happen, but if I spend more than a few seconds on alternate camera views and switch back to the VC or vice-versa, I get the texture pop in on Sim objects or the cockpit.I was pretty sure this was just a general FSX foible! Cheers! Iain
