With the update for the 747 coming soon, will PMDG consider an update for the MD11 model. I feel the external model may need a little update.Emilson.

I guess PMDG is well aware of all the remaining bugs and flaws in the MD-11. I'd be much more than happy to see them eliminated one day. Even after all those many years of simming and purchasing so many airliner add-ons, and even with all the latest releases and previews of airplanes, the PMDG MD-11 for me still keeps holding the crown.P.S.: Because of the removal of the 2D cockpit, I'm unfortunately not really excited about the upcoming 777. This was very different in the past, e.g. when I remember the old PMDG 737. Times have changed, and maybe one day not so far we'll meet again on X-Plane...

To be honest I don't really see a need update the MD-11. For me it's just about the quality that the NGX has, maybe slightly worse. For me it's by far good enough, it doesn't need a redo in my opinion. There's sometimes only bad AA and some shimmering in the cockpit displays, but that's about it. And sometimes there are some CTD's related to the MD-11 FMS, when messing a lot with it. But fortunately I rarely have these.

What I have been reading in the forums is that the MD11 has no commercial appeal so great, so what we have today would be the "final version".If this is indeed the truth, it is a shame because for me it's a plane that rivals the NGX. If the graphics of the cockpit was a bit better, I'd be in heaven.
