March 29, 201214 yr One of my personal things in FS when it comes to addon aircraft is that i do a series of test flights and read the documentation before i do any actual flights. Then i pick an airline that flies that particular type, in this instance SAS, and do a delivery flight to their base before i do scheduled flights. Well tonight i did my first official 737ngx flight, KBFI-ESSA, and i just thought i would share the details for those interested. It was a total of 9 hours and 36 minutes, with an off time of 2203Z and on at 0739Z. FMC had me at first pegged at almost 10 hours on the dot with a cost index of 0 to maximize distance for the long flight. However over the atlantic the FMC was showing my fuel at ESSA to be 3.8kgs so i decided to manually enter M.72 from the FMC's M.68 to pick it up a bit and thus increased my TAS from around 390 to 415 or so. I was averaging 465 on the groundspeed through out the flight with a cruise of FL390. I left with full tanks and during preflight was looking at 3.3 at ESSA, looks like the winds turned out more favorable than what i inputed manually in the LEGs page, not going to complain, as i didnt have to worry about a diversion to SVG. In total i burned up 16,800kgs, compared to the 17,213 fsbuild was showing. Well thats it, its now 0300 my time and time for bed after that nice little cross the pond trip. I look forward to start flying scheduled flights for SAS now and hope they enjoy LN-RNU ;)Adam Kaleniak
