April 6, 200422 yr Please help me by directing me to the very best 757 model in FS2004 (full animations and wing views), the very best 757 panel in FS2004 (realistic and with multiple views), and the very best 757 sounds in Ms2004. I fly the 757 frequently (United)in real life, and I absolutely love the plane. I just can't seem to get a complete, and excellent model in FS9. The last panel I had seemed to have a radio problem (couldn't change frequencies)and I DID put the correct radio settings (pasted)into it.I look forward to your many opinions, because I know there are other 757 fans on this forum. I am willing to do payware if necessary. Stan
April 6, 200422 yr The best 757 model is, without doubt, Posky's. -200 and -300 models are available.
April 6, 200422 yr FTD has a nice 757 model also, I'm surprised though there weren't more repaints done on this terrific aircraft. IFDG of course has a nice 757 too.
April 7, 200422 yr Author Sounds good...however, what panel and what sounds are you using to complete the "perfect" 757? Stan
April 7, 200422 yr There are two good freeware panels in the library. One is by Lonny Payne, the other by Ken Mitchell. The one by Lonny Payne has some extra features, while the one by Ken Mitchell is a little sharper looking. Try them both and see for yourself which you prefer. I'm sure there are even more out there. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
April 7, 200422 yr >The last panel I had seemed to have a radio problem (couldn't change frequencies)and I DID put the correct radio settings (pasted)into it.Thats because In the aircraft.cfg there is a section that says something like, "Has Radio" or "Radio", there was most likely a 0 next to it, if that was a 1 it would work, wa-la! ;) :D
April 7, 200422 yr Good 757 sounds are from Daniel Careri based on the PW2037 turbofans that United has. There is also one edited for American Airlines RB211-535E4 turbofans as well on "ALL Nodes to Busy" site which is flightsim.com. Very good sounds in my opinion. Hope this helps.Note: These are not fs2004 sounds but fs2000 and 2002 but they do work in fs2004.
April 7, 200422 yr Author Thanks for all the replies, fellow simmers. I hope to return the favor when I can. I will try your suggestions.Happy flying. Stan
