Aerosoft Twin Otter Autopilot - Help Needed!

Featured Replies

So, the autopilot looks simple. An AP switch, HDG, Alt and Nav hld. switch. Thing is, how does one change the heading with the heading switch? When I engage it, the plane randomly starts turning to an unknown heading. Is it following the GPS route? I didn't leave it on for too long to find out as I didn't want my IFR flight route to go out of wack. Can anyone help me with this?

On the bot right of the HSI (horizontal situation indicator) the turn knob is activated by mouse wheel, (it does mouse click on mine as well) looking on the outer rim of HSI there is a little red marker (Heading bug)

it is faint so turn the heading bug knob and you should see it move, the mouse wheel should move either way.

if you look at page 11 in the manual you can just see the heading bug part hidden behind the red flag.
