I was just wondering what settings do you find to be the most realistic for AI coverage?

Right now i have it set at 80% airliner and 20% for GA....anything higher than that seems like too much especially on the GA side

I would set it to whatever fills the airports to about 70% capacity. That's probably about 40% for MTX maybe even less. If I'm not mistaken MTX at under 20% == FSX traffic at 100. I don't know the exact figures but it's something like that.

If you read in the manual there is an explanation of the slider settings. A 25% setting will give you all of the Commercial AI traffic at the particular airport at the time when they collected the data. A 30% setting will give you the same plus cargo traffic. Anything above 35% is extra AI for basically plane spotting. I generally keep mine set at 30% / 5 to 10% GA. Anything more then that at high density airports you can't usually get a word in edgewise to ATC whether it is stock ATC, RC or PFE.

This applies to V 5.4.

I have Airline and GA Traffic both at 25-35%, and at some airports, even at smaller ones like LOWW (without crosswind landings, though) it sometimes takes 10 minutes to get take-off clearence.

I agree with everyone, my settings are at 30% and I get about 80% full of AI at most major airports. If you get more than that AI at major airports like JFK, ORD or ATL degrade frames. If you want AI to look just like real world airports with MTX you will need a mainframe computer LOL.
