I am using the ProFlight Yoke System and am experiencing what I consider an annoyance.

 

When I use the hat switch to look around the cockpit, the moves are very abrupt and it's very difficult to smoothly centre to the view I need. Is there a way to adjust the hat switch so that the moves are finer, less abrupt to provide an easier way to get the view I need?

You could use the 'space + mouse' to move around .

I have reassigned the space bar to a button on my ch yoke. so i can still have control on the yoke at the same time as panning the vc.

if you have fsuipc4 (reg ver) there are some mouse movements on the misc' tab thats recently been added. (for w7 users i think)
