Here We Go Again.....The word is out that FEELTHERE is about to release their long awaited CRJ-200 and the word on their site is it is today...I am getting kind of bored with this hurry up and wait game that happens each and everytime a new add-on is ready to be release. I think it is time that the add-on industry sets a standard release time for new product instead of the standard....SOMETIME TODAY....it is my feeling that no annoucement should be made until the product is done and ready to be released.....I think that Eaglesoft has done a terrific job at this.Why cant we have a set time perhaps based on time at the GMZ for release.Just my thoughts

I can only guess, but I believe that the fear of the website getting hammered at a specific time is a big concern. We've all seen what happens when hundreds (maybe more?) of people try to buy an addon at the exact same minute. Again, that is just my guess.

i don't see a hurry up and wait game,or you must've made it just that right now ;-)they can shout all they want,it's a free world we live in(atleast,it was before a certain event)and i don't understand why it should bother me they say they'll release soon,today,tomorrow,or 6 weeks from now.they'll deliver,or they'll not deliver,and it's their show,so good luck to them.my 02 centscheers

I cannot belive this, you wait patiently for a year for the product to be done, and then you complain about something that is a matter of a few hours. Announcing an exact time of release has been tried before by some companies that also experienced at the same time what a server overload is. - Oyvind

Well, its out, and Wilco look like they have been listening to us, they have dropped the price by $5, not a massive amount, but hey its something.Like you mike, I cant see what another day or two would make when releasing things, I mean the world aint gonna stop turning just because you have not got the latest add-on.Dan.

Besides that, releasing this stuff can never be set in stone (date wise). Anything could go wrong at any time since development/beta testing/release are all part of a dynamic process.My only suggestion would be to look at it this way:I didn't have it yesterday so waiting for it one more day really doesn't change anything.In addition, I would rather a group give a round about date and stick to it if possible then to provide an exact date and keep pushing it back.:)
