lousy performance with Nhancer running?

Featured Replies

I use nvidia nhancer for FSX (works great etc.) ... yet now when I run Flight, the performance is aweful, even at low settings! I was running Flight great when it first came out ....before I installed nhancer...

anyone else have this problem?

Please don't say try Inspector ... I have an old GTX 280 M card, and must stay with the Nhancer for my older card...

thanks!

Did you change the "Custom=0" line, in your Flight.cfg file, to " Custom=1" - without the astericks of course. I think for Nhancer to properly overide the graphic settings in Flight, you wll need to do this first. If you did not, you might give that a try and see how it does. Please note this will gray out your graphics options within the Flight interface, until such time as you change it back to 0.

Was there a compelling reason to run Flight using Nhancer to adjust the video card settings?

If no, why not just go back to your video card settings through Flight and let the sim control those things.

I personally use Nvidia Inspector with the latest drivers for my video card, for FSX. I gave it a try for Flight , using similar settings to how I have FSX set up, and while I saw no appreciable degredation in peformance, I saw no appreciable gain in visuals either - so I went back to using the Flight settings.
