April 10, 201214 yr Has anyone solved the corrupted installation error? I have a friend whose Flight was working on a 32 bit WIN 7 machine. He now gets the corrupted installation error and Flight crashes. Thanks, Bob.
April 11, 201214 yr I recommend uninstalling Flight and deleting all traces of it (e.g. it's folder in "Local Settings" etc.), then try installing it again. Jehan Kateli

April 11, 201214 yr interestingly enough I not only get these corrupt installation messages every once in a while but I also found out that a restart sometimes helps? had a ctd before my easter vacation, resulting in the corrupt installation message. well, left for my sunny african destination, came back last night, fired up flight and it loaded perfectly. okay, got another crash in flight.exe during the daily aerocache hunt but if I followed this forum correctly aerocaches don't save anyway these days. so I did noz bother except that I was surprised to see a working installation suddenly after the corrupted installation message 1 week ago. So I really wonder what happens here 'internally' if the installation is once reported to be corrupted and then suddenly works like a charme... waiting patiently for the next update....
