Ben, the test I see is a geometrical one (FSXMark11), it is not an IQ one. We still need IQ test to confirm that the 680 is a better card. I'm awaiting a reply from one guy one that one...

 

We are almost positive that the 680's are the same as the 580 [or a bit better] at this point so we have no worry about a drop in FPS. I don't really see why someone wouldn't want to go ahead and get one considering that they are $499.99 on Newegg.

 

The other option is to do what I did. - Get an EVGA GTX580 and use the EVGA step-up program to get a GTX680 in a few months so you will have the latest and greatest technology available.
