April 12, 201214 yr I know there are threads about this, but i cant find them... So im terribly sorry... But here comes another one of these threads:) I had to re-install my FSX and now im having some problems with my plane being thrown around by the winds on cruise... Im sure i need some settings in Active sky and fsupic... Can anyone give me tips on how their settings are?:-) /Niklas Niklas Eriksson
April 12, 201214 yr AS2012 has good notes on this. Basically you turn all FSUIPC weather control OFF, and enable direct weather control from 2012. As you know, works like a charm. * Orest Orest Skrypuch President & CEO, UVA www.united-virtual.com
April 12, 201214 yr Author Yes I know, but if i remember correctly there is "a lot" of settings you have to do in active sky to make it "perfect" that is what i wanted people to share :-p And i think that I´ve read that you should use wind smoothing in FSUIPIC... I cant find these posts though... Thanks Orest for your reply! /Niklas Eriksson Niklas Eriksson
April 13, 201214 yr Niklas, Since FSUIPC 4.751 I use no FSUIPC weather tweaks at all, have restored the fsx settings also. I have no issues whatsoever with AS2012 and the NGX and no 'S' turns in the 747 either. Give it a try in a clean configuration and make your own choice.
April 13, 201214 yr Commercial Member I'm not using any FSUIPC modifications to weather either and AS2012 has been perfect for me... Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
