April 13, 201214 yr It dawned on me I'm missing a good taildragger from my hanger. So can I get some opinions on what taildraggers you guys prefer and make some recommendations? This is in the Prepar3D forum because whatever you recommend, it has to work on this platform. :) I'd prefer a single engine, no warplanes, strictly GA, good clean hi-res textures. More important basic navigation aids. ie: No glass, no GPS.. ASUS ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING / i9-9900k @ 4.7 all cores w/ NOCTUA NH-D15S / 2080ti / 32GB G.Skill 3200 RIPJAWS / 1TB Evo SSD / 500GB Evo SSD / 2x 3TB HDD / CORSAIR CRYSTAL 570X / IPSG 850W 80+ PLATINUM / Dual 4k Monitors
April 13, 201214 yr My 3 favourites (in no order of preference!) are: 1) Aerosoft Bush Hawk XP 2) RealAir Scout/Citabria/Decathalon pack 3) Flight Replicas Super Cub pack All three offer a huge array of liveries and variants; bush, amphibious, ski etc and are all great value for money IMHO. Even though they are not the newest FSX planes around, the quality of the models and VC stands up well today and they are great to hand-fly low-n-slow. The BushHawk does have panel GPS however; the other two have variants both with and without. I have all of these working successfully in Prepar3D Scout! BushHawk! Super Cub! Cheers! Iain
April 13, 201214 yr Author O.o That RealAir pack looks like a good bang for the buck and already having RailAir's Duke pack I need not wonder about quality, I know it's there already.. *hammers gavel* sold! Thank you! Edit: Just got installed. Worked fine and took a quick spin. While they do show their age a bit these are exactly what I was looking for. Great value considering the amount of product in return for a very fair price. No complaints and thanks again for the recommendations. April 14, 201214 yr Hah! You certainly didn't waste any time! Good choice though - like you say, you can't go wrong with a RealAir product. Glad the pack hit the spot and you got what you were after. :) Cheers! Iain
