April 15, 201214 yr Hello, I'm a noob to X-Plane 10 so bear with me. I'm using TrackIr and while it works well, I find myself moving all over the place. One second I'm behind the seat, the next, my head is outside the aircraft. Is there a way to set the pilot's eyepoint so that doesn't happen?
April 15, 201214 yr Hi You could try Sandy Barbour's PilotView plugin. It's a superb bit of software similar to EZdok Camera addon for FSX and best of all it's free. It has pilotview limits to stop your head going through the fuselage when using TrackIR. You can also preset views and assign them to joystick buttons all from within XPX. The effects are pretty cool too. http://www.xpluginsdk.org/pilot_view.htm http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvFZXzq6gQ0 Hope this helps Rhydian
April 15, 201214 yr Author Rhydian, Thank you very much. That's exactly what I was looking for. I had downloaded pilotview, but I had no idea how to make it work. Thanks again.
