April 19, 201214 yr Hi everyone, I got a bit of annoying problem. I use FSX with FTX Australia, YSCH and YSCB addons from FTX and REX v2.0 When I start FSX the weather engine REX is also loaded. When I choose a location in Europe, America or another place everything works fine. The clouds are rendered very good and I can see the added value of REX. When I choose YSCH (Coffs Harbour) in Australia as starting location, at the end I can see no weather at all. Clear blue sky, no wind. But when I google "local weather in Coffs Harbour" I can see that there are clouds and rain (just as an example). So I expect to see clouds and rain when REX loads the real time weather. Does someone recognize this problem. Do I use wrong settings? I just followed the recommended settings from FTX. In REX I selected all options and in FSX I selected real time weather (Jeppesen). Can someone help me? Thanks Rein From the Netherlands
April 19, 201214 yr REX has always had a problem with weather reporting stations in the down under area. The new REX Essential is addressing this problem and according to their forum it should no longer be a problem with the release of REX E. Bob G.
