No fs-hud is not compatible with stb. I use FSHUD since a half year in combination with the AIG-models. It works really well. No issues. So I would suggest to give AIG a try. It really is very good. Just check http://www.alpha-india.net for AIG. Rein

You better try to contact TFDI via their website. You can send a ticket or can reach them via discord. About a half year ago I did the same with PKSIM. They removed their P3D sceneries from simmarket. I sent them a mail (very polite and with some arguments) and asked to bring their P3D sceneries back again to simmarket. So they did. I don't if it was because of my mail, but who knows. I'm thinking of doing the same with tfdi and their md-11. Just ask for making it available again. Rein

I downloaded most of their African scenery (airports and the photoreal country sceneries), but haven't had time yet to install it. I think it's important for you to have access to their website so you can download the country scenery. Try again. Do you have a membership, I suppose so because you could download the airports. I think their African airports are developed to be used in combination with their photo scenery. Did you install the photo scenery from Matthias for Nigeria and Zambia? That can also be downloaded from simmershome as you probably will know. Or do you use ORBX global or ORBX OpenLC Africa? Rein

Hello fellow simmers, Carenado has a 30% discount for their aircraft. I'm thinking about to buy the A42 and/or A72. I know Carenado is not study level, but that's no problem for me. I have a few questions. How is the integration with the RXP GTN 750? Does it work good? Are there any issues with it? How easy is it to update to the latest airac cycle? I have a navigraph subscription. I have several other aircraft from Carenado and they work fine in P3D 5.4 (that's my sim). Do the A42 and A72 also work good in 5.4 and how is the impact on fps? Thanks Ray for this explanation. As far as I know both kind of routes are used in the real world. Great circle is the most efficient (distance/fuel) but jet routes are also used. Am I right? All my flightplans are AIGFP, so jet routes. Didn't know that. Thanks

Totally agree with Ray. AIG is a wonderful AI package. There are about 2500 flightplans you can install if you wish; big airlines like Delta but also GA flying clubs. The flightplans are updated on a regular basis. There are two parts of the software. AIG Manager and TrafficController. AIG Manager is the program where you manage your AI (install/update/delete flightplans). Traffic Controller is the program that injects the AI in P3D. I could not do without AIG anymore. Just love it. I have installed 333 flightplans up till now (mainly for Europe and US). And I my opinion it is really not that complex. I would say, just give it a try. I think you will like it. Rein

WBKL and HTDA are from MFSG

PKSIM sceneries for P3D are available again at simmarket. Perhaps they listened to our requests. I send them a mail just before last weekend and asked for re-enabling their sceneries at simmarket, at least for 2 weeks or so. Then we have the possibility to buy what we want from them! So very happy; gonna buy their sceneries. Last few weeks three brand new other sceneries at simmarket: KTUL Tulsa from RF Scenery Builders WBKL HTDA (this is the international airport at Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania) This makes my day. That's a real shame. Why don't they make it freeware without any support? Some other developers have done that; e.g. Milviz with their FSX/P3D aircraft. Perhaps contact PKSIM and make this suggestion.

Hello. I don't know about MFSG. What I can see is that they still develop for P3D. Their latest airport is HTDA, the international airport of Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania. I think MFSG sceneries are not top-level like FlyTampa, but they are also not bad. Worth the price I think. But as I said I don't own a MFSG airport. There is another developer for Canadian Airports and that is simaddons, but they don't sell at simmarket. You can find them at simaddons.com. They have airport packs. CYQT is in pack2. There are 6 other airports in that pack. The price is 33 Swiss franc. I think around 30 Euros or Dollars. But then you get 7 airports! They built their P3D airports with sloped runways. You can take a look at their site. I also don't have simaddons airports. I just know theye exist. Rein

Hi there, I have three airports from UK2000 (EGPD, EGPF and EGAC). They are good value for the money. When you look at Simmarket and search for EGPD you see that there are 4 reviews and all of them give 5 stars. I agree with that. They switched to MSFS but their P3D airports still look very nice. And 10 Euros is a very good price. Keep in mind that you also have to install the legacy common libraries , if not you will miss a lot of objects. The same. From time to time, it still amazes me. And I still have so much to discover. Just bought my first TE NA region. Haven't had the time to discover. Also have to make my entry in flying the big jets. I have a ton of scenery and still have to discover a big part of it. Performance is very good. And there is still some development going on; althought at a slow pace. New things I like to take a look at are FCScenery and P3Dv6. I already have it on my SSD's but haven't had much time to play with it. So enough to do. And Yes, tinkering with the simulator and scenery is an essential part of the hobby for me. And we have all kind of tools for it. I stick with P3D.

I'm thinking of buying KIAD from Flightbeam. I know it's a top developer. So no questions about the quality. The only question I have is: does the scenery comply with the current layout of the airport (taxiways, runways, terminals)? Rein

I couldn't find the answer in the manual. I know they have a discord channel, but I'm not a fan of discord. Just installed A pilot's life chapter 2 for the first time. Looks like a very nice career mode app to me. My question: are the departure and arrival times in local time or UTC. I think it's local time, but not sure about it.

I decided to buy the C208 from Carenado. Nice airplane although it's already quite old. Don't regret buying it. I have one question. Is it possible to start the plane in cold and dark mode. Tried the SHIFT+1 up to SHIFT+5 but didn't find it. Perhaps a mod available?

MSE and fcscenery are both photo sceneries afaik; fcscenery covers almost the whole world and comes with autogen. What are the differences between the two. Which brings higher quality photo scenery
