September 3, 2025Sep 3 PKSIM sceneries for P3D are available again at simmarket. Perhaps they listened to our requests. I send them a mail just before last weekend and asked for re-enabling their sceneries at simmarket, at least for 2 weeks or so. Then we have the possibility to buy what we want from them! So very happy; gonna buy their sceneries. Last few weeks three brand new other sceneries at simmarket: KTUL Tulsa from RF Scenery Builders WBKL HTDA (this is the international airport at Dar Es Salaam in Tanzania) This makes my day. P3D is alive! Rein

September 3, 2025Sep 3 Pretty cool marketing tactic. I salute them. Sounds like they’ve been paying attention to Cracker Barrel.😂 Edited September 3, 2025Sep 3 by Patco Lch Vic green
September 3, 2025Sep 3 This is great news! Thank you for emailing PKSIM. Will definitely be picking up KTUL as well. Orman
September 4, 2025Sep 4 Great to see PKSIM back, and the new RFScenery Tulsa title (have loads from each of those developers) but they are gonna have to lower those prices or sell them direct and not via Simmarket who are no doubt clipping the ticket. 18euro is WAY too much for a P3D title these days sorry MFSG have the price at an acceptable level I reckon Edited September 4, 2025Sep 4 by deeknow Dean Stringer
September 4, 2025Sep 4 picked up KTUL...It is very well done....It is worth the 17.00 Euro in my opinion. system i9 10850K NVidia RTX3090 24GB Samsung SSD980 m.2 1TB (x2) Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD Seagate 2TB external drive Samsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB SSD Asus B460M-PLUS Mobo 32GB GSkill DDR4 3000mhz Ram using P3D v5.3
September 5, 2025Sep 5 I got KTUL too and overall it's a good quality airport. The paths and parkings seem to match the surface good and it has detailed buildings and surfaces. However the installer ends with a failure and needs to be shut down. It seems, this does not influence the files it installs. The scenery looks complete but the scenery has to be included in Prepar3D manually. Certainly not good for people who just want an automated installation. The installer suggest to install into Prepar3D v5 addons but after installation there is no add-on.xml in the KTUL-Tulsa-RFSB-P3D5 folder as would be usual for installations there. But nowadays installation of addons is free of any rules. The afcad has some taxiways and especially the runway details checked and this interferes with the beautiful surface of this airport giving graphical distortions on the runway, were taxiways cross. Really no beta testers around? Also I noticed, the MAIW AI F16 parked between GA Jets, because the Mil-combat parkings are too small. After enlarging these parkings the F16 park on the military apron where they belong to. I also changed some dock parkings to Mil-Cargo to have large military planes there instead at the gate. There was an update yesterday but it did not fix the installer or any other bug. The files were all unchanged. I guess there will be another update soon. I will upload my afcad mod hopefully this weekend. October 23, 2025Oct 23 Moderator I bought SKBO Bogotá today for €25 which seems a bit steep. I read one review which slated the AFCAD but I’m confident I can sort out any issues with that. Installed it and it’s a nice looking airport. The surrounding area looks not entirely convincing but more importantly the many AIG Ai move around the taxiways okay despite many parking positions being reported by ADE as unconnected. I’ll be adding more South American airports as it’s one continent I’ve neglected. Ray (Cheshire, England). I know the actual SKBO has several overlapping positions in such a way that two of them get disabled when you park a heavy. 6 hours ago, Ray Proudfoot said: The surrounding area looks not entirely convincing I've only seen the pictures at Simmarket. I see too many trees east of the airport, and too few houses/buildings. Except for the avenue leading to the airport, it should be the opposite. The noise procedure is there for a reason. That's why departures there are interesting😂 Best regards,Luis Hernández Main rig: self built, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D (with SMT off and CO -50 mV), 2x16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB, 256 GB M.2 SSD (OS+apps) + 2x1 TB SATA III SSD (sims) + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD (storage), ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS air cooler, Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 1920x1080@120-144 Hz (G-sync compatible), Windows 11. October 24, 2025Oct 24 Moderator Luis, I only had a quick chance to check the airport out. I need a quick flight to see more. What made my buy it was the terminal buildings looked pretty good. The downside of knowing the airport in real life is you make comparisons. 😉 Being ignorant has its advantages. 😁 Ray (Cheshire, England). I'd better shut up then 😂 I'll only say that you'll have a fun time trying to get your 777 out of SKBO. Actually, I can't recall any nonstops to Europe IRL (but all were in the -200ER, not the -200LR or -300ER). Surprisingly, the A343 (with its 4 hairdryers) was able to depart without too many issues to LEMD, LFPG and EDDF. But it's a short flight. At 8,000ft takeoffs will be interesting when heavier. What surprised me was the SID to the north from 14R. By the time I'm abeam the airport I'm almost at cruise! 😁 Ray (Cheshire, England).
