Back to 4.5 !
I’ve been with 4.5 since it came out. After all this time, I’ve had maybe 3-4 CTDs. As Ray suggested, I want to try out v5, but I have so much stuff installed that I keep postponing it. Yes, some add ons are outdated, but I can live with that.

Hello Is anyone using FSHUD with AIG ? I’m considering buying it, but I have some concerns: 1. How does the integration with AIG work ? Does FSHUD ignore AIG bgls and injects its own schedule into P3D ? 2. Does FSHUD provide good AI traffic management (separation and everything else) ? I’ve been using AIflow and AIground for a long time. Is FSHUD better ? thanks Eduardo

I don’t think so. The aircrafts being deleted don’t even start to taxi, they are being deleted at the gate.

Hello guys. I use AIG with P3D, and thanks to Lossless Scaling and a very good machine, I´m able to set Ai Traffic to 100%. I also use Super Traffic Board, and I noticed that, at large airports, when there are multiple departures scheduled to depart at a certain time, one flight requests taxi and all the others show as "cancelled" on Super Traffic Board with a message that "due to excessive schedule delay, flights XXX were deleted." So I´m wondering if it´s P3D deleting the flights or Super Traffic Board. Thanks Eduardo

Hello. I'm trying to enhance an airport that a friend of mine made using ADE. I want to add more realistic grass textures to replace P3D's default grass textures. I know that I can do this through ADE by using the custom ground poly option, however I have zero knowledge on how to use Photoshop to create my texture. I was wondering if someone who's done this before would have a more realistic grass texture that I could just add to ADE and use with the ground poly. Thanks Eduardo

FSUIPC traffic settings
Hi Ray we have a very similar setup. I’m using Lossless Scaling, got my AI at 100% as well. However, even with 60 FPS, in JFK for example I get 330+ planes which cause me some stutters, so that’s why I asked the question. Thanks Eduardo

Hello guys. I was wondering what are the best settings in the FSUIPC traffic tab to prevent FSUIPC to delete AI traffic from the origin/destination airport (considering a flight plan is loaded in P3D). I have read the documentation a lot of times but couldn’t quite figure it out. Thanks Eduardo

This is indeed impressive. The only issue I’m have is a lot of flickering of distant objects (when making turns taxing) and heavy flickering of the ground night textures when flying at night (at crz level). Are the any settings that reduce the flickering ? thanks Eduardo

FSX and FXAA
Hello guys. I used to have FXS running with FXAA without any issues, however, ever since I changed my rig, it doesn't work anymore. FSX starts loading and before the start menu appears it just closes. It works fine with ENB though. On the log file, this is what I get redirecting CreateDevice device->GetBackBuffer failed redirecting CreateDevice D3DXCreateEffectFromFile failed try to use "C:\FSX" for shader files My PC ia a i7 6700K, GTX 1080, ASRock Z170, 32GB memory. Would anyone have any ideas on how to solve this I really like ENB during daytime, however, at night, I almost can't see the city lights unless I'm right above the. With FXAA I got a great balance adjusting the fog slider. Thanks Eduardo

FXAA and SweetFX
Hi guys. Need some help here. I didn't post this in the CTD board because I'm not having a crash with these tools. Here's what's been happening: I've used FSX with FXAA without any problems. No crashes whatsoever, and my FSX looked great. However, I bought a new PC and had to reinstall everything, including FXAA. The problem is, whenever I start FSX, the FSX screen appears and after a little while it dissapears, and FSX doesn't load. This doesn't generate any entries on the event viewer. So, I tried deleting the d3dl.dll from the FSX folder and FSX starts normally, however, I don't get any effects pressing the Pause key (for FXAA) or the Scroll Lock key (for SweetFX). I open FSX and FXAA side by side, press the Pause key and nothing happens. The weird thing is that, I tried downloading ENB, installed it (with the d3dl.dll file) and it works. So I tried using the d3dl.dll file that comes with ENB with FXAA and I still don't get any changes. Would anyone have any ideia what could be happening ? Does FXAA and SweetFX need the d3dl.dll module to work ? If they don't, what could be preventing those tools to load their effect ? My rig is: i7 6700, Nvidia GTX1080, 32GB RAM, ASRock Z170 OC Formula. I do have Nvidia inspector intalled, and FXAA is enabled. Thanks Eduardo

FXAA night settings
Hello everyone. I've just started using FXAA with FXA and I'm impressed. It has transformed my entire experience and I haven't got one single crash with it. I really love how it makes the nights more realistic, instead of the very bright nights of the default FSX. However, there is one thing that has been bothering me: city lights are only visible and bright at a very close distance. When you're approaching a big city or even flying over one at crusing altitude, you can barely see them. I was wondering if anyone who's been using FXAA would have a configuration that makes this better. Cheers Eduardo

Invisible Terrain at SBRJ
Hi. I've been having the same problem. Mine happens exactly when I cross the threshold of runway 20 (l opr R) , about 30-70 feet from the ground. The strangest thing is that I've tried deleting all default .bgls that are related to Rio De Janeiro and the crash still happened. Does anyone have any ideia of what can be done ?
