I am using xroads, map enhancement. I have yet to install the hotfix yet. Yes, the local roads missing and weird roads where parking lots should be are a bit strange but overall it seems better and when they have everything straightened out, will look amazing. As it is right now, it is very good and the minor issues doesn't really bother me. I am focusing more on the flying anyway at low level since I primarily fly Toliss A32x. @ tony, xroads is the reason behind all of the EMS vehicles?

I do not use global forests and mostly fly North America. Forest are dense at second highest setting. I cranked the world objects to the right as a test and I think I might bring that down one notch. It hit the frames a bit but overall I am happy with the performance as it seems far more detailed than the free version. Other than the issue I have with police cars everywhere, it's worth the money.

I bit the bullet and am quite happy other than a minor issue where I have hundred and thousands of police cars all over. To me with map enhancement, it is worth the money and I am sure it will only get better with time.

For what it's worth, I use WT3. Very easy to install and use, however some paints could use updating and there is no MAX available. He is working on WT4 which I am sure will address those things. He is very active in his discord. Coming from P3D I sure miss AIG AIM but it is what it is. All of the other things that X-Plane offers trumps not having AIG.

a few fellow Winnipeggers in here! We may have a developer working on CYWG for Xplane 12. He is releasing CYYC first, then CYWG. Hopefully that roadmap doesn't change.

For what it's worth i am quite new to xplane 12. I didn't mind spending some cash on the Toliss A320neo/ceo and also the A321neo/ceo. Like others I use Map Enhancement and Sim Heaven. If you don't mind spending cash on airports I really like the stuff from Nimbus, Taimodels, AirField Canada. DD KEWR is pretty darn good too.

I for one am looking forward to this. Newer to x-plane12 and have been religiously been using Toliss A320 and A321 neo and ceo. This and possibly if FF updates the 777 to include the 300ER are the two I am looking to buy.

Need to see photos. This makes no sense to me. Only ever seen anything remotely close from when we went 32bit models to 64bit sim. I use FSPXAI which are terrific models anytime I sparingly use P3D and have never seen this. Are you using AIG installers and AIG Traffic Controller?

How d you find it comparing to the free version.

I am newer to xplane 12 myself and really am pleased with payware from Nimbus, Shortfinal, the new release of KEWR from Dzreweicki Design, and KAUS from DominicDesign. I have a couple airports from GloballArt as well for Canada and cannot say I am impressed with the textures at the terminals but there isnt really anything else for CYUL or CYYZ.

I have elevation issues with your file but appreciate what you did with the lights issue. It works still with an older custom ade file i have from someone else.

If there are ade files with errors forget it. I have removed fshud from my system. I am transitioning to xplane 12 anyway.

You will love it, and as you can see we are here to help with any hang ups you may have. Once you get it initially set up though you are off to the races. Make sure you put on a few pots of coffee, there are thousands of packages to install!!!!. Please note that there are some GA packages only available for MSFS and not P3D. Don't sweat it though as they are mostly "bush" flying and are circling local aerodromes, fishing camps etc. In theory they can work in p3d with generic repaints for compatibile models but it's work I haven't put into yet. You may also get hung up when it asks which models you want to install. There are freeware and payware options but for a good chunk of the GA packages you need DFAI models which are payware. h... I had trouble with aircraft parking all over the place even after letting thngs "learn" and trying to modify a couple of airports. Anyway, my mistake with what I knew of FSLTL it seemed like the same premise.

PSXeecon traffic is essentially the same as FSLTL but it is subscriptive. That is what I was referring to.

I tried this in the past but to set up the aircraft to go to the right gates was extremely tedious in my opinion. I still have it but haven't used it in like 2-3 yrs just for that reason. It is more on the expensive side as well for the subscription. at 84 yrs old he might have a tighter budget.

On the contrary, it's not any more difficult than that of ultimate traffic. Arguably easier really. I am afraid you don't have any other options if you want anything resembling real world traffic. Give it a shot, you might be surprised how easy it is to set up.
