July 8Jul 8 I am really think about buying Europe or the whole world. But I think I don't have enough space on my hard drive. Two questions:How much space is needed for Europe and the whole world? When buying an entire continet or even the whole world, how are the files organized? Is it possible to install only selected countries?Kind regardsMichael

In my set-up Europe and Africa share a 5TB drive and it is virtually full. Management of the files is very straitforward. Each country is a folder, each containing a Texture and Scenery folder, just like any other scenery. Just install/activate as required. I use Lorbys Addon Organiser to group the countries into zones and activiate as needed. US states and Canadian provinces are all separate files so you can group them as needed without activating the whole land mass (ie if you are flying Atlanta-Miami, you don't need California activated, thereby reducing strain on your system. One piece of advice - if you are using AIG, AIGTC scans you system for airports every time it starts. FC Scenery contains literally millions of .bgl files and AIGTC needs to scan them to see if they are airports, so the start-up process takes an eternity. I have my FC Scenery files on external drives plugged into a powered hub. I switch them off. Upon start-up I activate AIGTC manually, then after it is running, then I switch on the hard-drives I need, then activate P3D. Once P3D is live, I inject the AI using the AIGTC interface and I am good to go. Ian S
July 9Jul 9 Thanks, Ian, for your help.2-3 TB just for Europe seems quite a lot... I don't have that much space left on my SSD. So I might just get 3-4 countries I fly in a lot for 4$ each - still a bargain!
