February 20Feb 20 Hello simmer community. I downloaded and installed the Nigeria and Zambia airports from Simmershome. These scenery packages are pretty good, but the problem is that there are trees on the runways, taxiways, and parking areas. Is there a way to get rid of them? If anyone has a solution, that would be wonderful. Dominique
February 20Feb 20 I think their African airports are developed to be used in combination with their photo scenery. Did you install the photo scenery from Matthias for Nigeria and Zambia? That can also be downloaded from simmershome as you probably will know. Or do you use ORBX global or ORBX OpenLC Africa? Rein
March 14Mar 14 Author Hi Rein, Thanks for the reply. The Simmerhome website seems to be closed and no longer accessible. Therefore, I can't install their photo scenery. Best regards, Domi
March 14Mar 14 Moderator It is possible to edit scenery objects. Using Model Converter X I was able to remove static jetways from a 20 year old ORBX airport and replace them with GSX ones. It’s not an easy process but if the scenery is P3Dv5 compatible it should be easier than FSX stuff. Ray (Cheshire, England). March 14Mar 14 Hi Dominique, I just visited their website simmershome.de. No problem with that, it works fine. I downloaded most of their African scenery (airports and the photoreal country sceneries), but haven't had time yet to install it. I think it's important for you to have access to their website so you can download the country scenery. Try again. Do you have a membership, I suppose so because you could download the airports. Rein
