April 20, 201214 yr Hi i always wonder what is the SPD REF Auto relates to in the pmdg 737ngx, It is always near the auto breakes . I always thought it relates to the auto breakes or something . Also the the N1 SET . Can someone explain to me what does this SPD REF AUTO does ? An what is mainly use for ? April 20, 201214 yr Normally, FMC drives the speed reference bugs on PFD and N1 reference bugs on EIS. If there is a fault with FMC or something similar, you can use these knobs to move the bugs yourself. Usage is rather simple - rotate outer part to indicate what you want to change (V1, Vr, Vref..., N1 on engine 1,2 or both), rotate inner part to change it. --Peter Fabian
