FPS slowdown exactly after 5 minutes?

Featured Replies

I have been testing various setups with the FSX.cfg to better my performance etc... as everyone does and I have noticed with the PMDG NGX whether or not my fsx.cfg has ANY tweaks (standard untouched fsx.cfg newly created), or tweaks from the automated tweaking tool by Bjote or ******* etc.... or by following any other late tweaking threads....

1) the NGX performance is great initally sitting on a runway, scenery sliders don't matter - after just about 5 minutes the FR drops about 25% and stays there! I can go from about 37 unlocked to 24 unlocked..... or from locked 30, to locked 18.

Again after weeks of fiddling, letting FSX just sit running with the NGX on a runway etc... after 5 minutes no matter what tweaks were or were not applied, it's all the same, most aggravating.

Any one else know what this is all about?
