I know this is not flight sim related but it is sad news anyway and I'm sure we all would like to pass our condolences on to those affected.

My sincere condolences to the families of the passengers and crew. If there was severe weather in the area, another lesson not to fly near it.

The airline had ceased operations a while back due to financial difficulties but had then restarted ops with a 737-200 that had been taken out of service by another airline. Very sad.

 

The CVR has been found.
