Request - Scrolling Library News Message At Front Page

Recommended Posts

It seems like a good idea, but scrolling would be pretty distracting I believe. What would happen if something scrolled past that you wanted to see... you'd have to wait for it to come back again.

hmmmm, ultimatley up to Tom, but if we could find one that could take raw HTML and convert the URL links in that HTML to a scroll, then i think we could impliment it easy enough.

We already have a number of java scrollers in our inventory. The issue is the man power and time to populate them daily. There is no automated process for that with the existing scrollers. However, until we redesign and integrate the library, we are not going to do anything like that. The new library is going to give us a number of options like that which already exist in the design, that all of it will be automated and extremely accessible to registered users. So, paitence will be rewarded with a significant improvement in functionality and features.
