April 23, 201214 yr Ok, FLIGHT freshly installed, a few great test flights with the AM6 "Zero" and a question for you... What is the best software, preferably free, I could use to record videos of my flights? Back in the old FS9/FSX days I used FRAPS, but, are there any alternatives worth the try? System: windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Thx for any suggestions ;-) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
April 23, 201214 yr I've never run across one that works better than Fraps, sorry. Fraps works flawlessly for me in Win 7 64. I'd be curious to see if there are any viable free programs available as responses come in.
April 24, 201214 yr Personally, I prefer a good camera focused and framed on my monitor than an internal recording app... Looks more like "filming" something in real life than internal recording and you can zoom in/out on the monitor :) Just my .02, give it a try... -P This is REALLY REALLY old but you get the idea... April 24, 201214 yr I have used WeGame http://www.wegame.com/ , which is nice, but for whatever reason when I moved from XP to Win7 it did not work well. I moved to fraps instead. I suggest you try the demo first to make sure you get the performance you want out of it. Aaron
